Music FuckingThe music industry is going after Kazaa and file sharing by suing the individuals who are providing the files. This makes sense to me as if someone was ripping me off I would be pissed. They need to do something to save their own skins and it is tough to fault that. But I love the fact that the E channel is running a show detailing what Madonna, Christina Aguilera( the fat pig) and Britney pay for stuff. $50k for dresses and $100k parties etc, are not going to make the public or more importantly a jury want to give huge fines to some people sharing the latest CD. They should just lobby congress and get some national law or something. I know it sounds too easy to have Congress do something that is useful but one can always hope. Sure it is ripping off copyrighted material but they can hardly sue each of us who has done it. Fuck em. I have about $2.54 in my pocket and they can haul me to court and get it. Wahhooo! Once it is illegal the big servers would go off line or over to porn but you can bet they would cease to serve up free music.
